At this point in his career, Aaron Rodgers uses his time on the practice field as an opportunity to test his limits.
Three weeks ago, Rodger uncorked a long pass downfield right into a net. That video went viral on social media, as fans were in awe of the reigning MVP’s arm talent.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston proved that he can also make that type of throw, dropping not one but two deep passes in the net.
Rodgers didn’t respond to Winston’s video, but he did prove that he can take things one step further if he needs to. On Thursday, the Green Bay Packers released a video of Rodgers dropping the ball into the net from long range. It was such an amazing pass from Rodgers that it almost looked fake.
Here’s the video that Green Bay released this afternoon:

Rodgers hasn’t taken a single snap this preseason, but we don’t really think he needs to after watching that video. He looks ready to connect on some deep passes to Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and the rest of the crew.
NFL fans will get to see Rodgers in action on Sept. 12 when the Packers take on the Saints in their season opener. It should be fun to watch Rodgers air it out in the Caesars Superdome.
