Superstar point guard Stephen Curry has missed the Warriors’ last seven contests since suffering a sprained ligament in his left foot on March 16.
The injury occurred when Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart dove through Curry’s legs for a loose ball.
On Friday, the Golden State organization released an update saying their two-time MVP is “making good progress” in his recovery process.
“[Curry] has spent the last two weeks performing various rehabilitation exercises in training and weight rooms under guidance of the team’s performance staff. He will gradually begin individual on-court activities next week, and his eventual return to practice will be based on his continued progress.”

Golden State currently sits at No. 4 in the Western Conference with a 48-29 record. The Warriors are just 1-6 since Curry suffered his injury in the team’s 110-88 loss to Boston. They have five more regular-season games before the start of the playoffs.
Clearly the team needs their superstar sharpshooter to return if they want to make a deep postseason run.
The Warriors will release another update on Curry’s injury situation on April 11.
