Von Miller is off the market, agreeing to a six-year deal with the Buffalo Bills this Wednesday.
The Bills have been actively looking for a pass rusher to bolster their defense, and Miller certainly checks off that box for the reigning AFC East champions.
Although the addition of Miller should help Buffalo’s defense, there are some concerns about the total value of his contract. It’s a six-year deal worth $120 million.
However, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY isn’t so sure Miller will end up receiving all $120 million.
“This is a huge signing for the Buffalo Bills, but there is no way this deal is for either six years or $120M,” Vacchiano tweeted. “He’s about to turn 33. This will end up being a lot shorter for a lot less.”

“This is the ‘we don’t want Patrick Mahomes to go down the field in 12 seconds’ signing,” James Rapien of All Bengals said.

Bills fans don’t seem too worried about the structure of Miller’s contract.
“Wow! There’s our edge rusher,” one fan said. “This has to be a heavily front loaded contract that the Bills can get out of easily after 3 years. Beane is very smart, don’t overreact to the sticker shock.”

During the Rams’ run to the Super Bowl, Miller had 14 total tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
Miller should be able to take the Bills to the next level.
