Video: Ugly Fight Breaks Out At Steelers-Lions Game

August 22, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

A general view of the Pittsburgh Steelers stadium.

An ugly fight broke out between fans attending the Pittsburgh Steelers-Detroit Lions preseason game on Saturday night.

A confrontation between a man and a woman was captured on video – a video that has since gone viral. At the beginning of the interaction, the woman is seen yelling at the man while being just inches away from the man’s face. The man then swipes the woman’s arm and proceeds to say, “don’t touch me.” Disaster ensued.

The woman slapped the man in the face. The man started to wind up a punch, but resisted. That’s when an individual sitting by the woman got involved and shoved the man who resisted against punching the woman. That only made things worse.

Punches were thrown. The man who was initially slapped landed punches on both the woman and the individual who stepped in to intervene. One of the punches landed appeared to knock unconscious the individual who intervened in defense of the woman.

Yikes.

Here’s what TMZ had to say about the ugly fight between the three individuals.

“The now-viral video shows the man and woman in some sort of argument, and you hear the woman yell something like, ‘shut up and get the f*** out!’ The woman apparently made contact when yelling, because the man tells her ‘don’t touch me’ and swipes her hand away. That’s when you see the woman deliver the slap … and all hell breaks loose. Fists fly, and a man who was sitting next to the woman, and seemingly someone who she knows, jumps to her defense. The man who was slapped connects with both the man and woman … and one punch seemingly knocks the guy out.”

It seems like there’s been a steep climb in fan fights during the NFL’s preseason this year. Let’s hope they soon come to an end.
