Earlier this week, free agent NFL quarterback Cam Newton made headlines for a controversial comment women.
“Now a women for me is, handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs,” Newton said. “Right? And I think a lot of times when you get that ascetic of ‘I’m a boss b—h, Imma this, Imma that.’ No baby! But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet! You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”
Naturally, his comments led to plenty of backlash – and for good reason. On Tuesday afternoon, Kayla Nicole, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, made her feelings known on the matter.
“I saw the interview. I haven’t said nothing about it, because I think it’s foolish we have to keep having this same tired conversation about the qualities that make a woman of substance,” Nicole said on her Instagram story.
She went on to call Newton a “bozo” following his disrespectful comments.
The obsession with women being able to cook is truly comical. Cause it’s like if your palate is so superior date a Michelin star chef then bozo.
Pretty sure the average woman is capable of making edible food. How do you think she’s survived thus far?

She then suggested that Newton should learn how to cook for himself with all of his free time because he’s not on an NFL roster.
“That man ain’t had a job in months,” she said. “He has nothing but time to ‘be quiet’ and get that ass in the kitchen.”
We likely haven’t heard the last of this story.
