With the NFL regular season approaching, teams across the league are looking to finalize their rosters before Week 1.
While most teams have their kicker situation squared away, there are some who are looking to upgrade heading into the start of the season.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Giants kicker Ryan Santoso is being mentioned in trade talks.
Santoso, 25, is blocked by veteran kicker Graham Gano in New York. However, he could be a viable trade target for teams looking for a new kicker.
“One player already drawing significant trade interest from around the league: Giants K Ryan Santoso. Teams have been calling and he could be dealt as the season gets closer. His path is blocked by Graham Gano in NYG, but he’s shown himself to be starter caliber,” Rapoport tweeted on Sunday morning.

Santoso kicked collegiately at Minnesota. He’s played professionally since 2018, both in the NFL and the Canadian Football League.
The young kicker spent the 2020 season with the Giants. He’s also played for the Lions and the Titans.
New York is scheduled to open the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Denver Broncos.
