There were a lot of practice fights across the NFL this week. Several teams held joint practices with their preseason opponents. When that happens, tempers can flare.
We saw that with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans.
Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was briefly kicked out of practice for fighting with a Titans player on Thursday. During a one-on-one drill, Brown reportedly ripped the helmet off Titans cornerback Chris Jackson.

Brown eventually returned to practice with a calmer head.
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady told SiriusXM NFL Radio what Brown had said to him about his practice fight.
“I asked,” Brady said Friday on SiriusXM NFL Radio, per JoeBucsFan.com. “I said, ‘A.B., what happened?’ He said. ‘Man, I lost it. I lost it. I just blacked out. I think I blacked out over there.’”
Well, at least Brown was honest. The Buccaneers can’t have that happen during a regular season game, though.
Tampa Bay is set to open the 2021 regular season on Thursday, Sept. 9 against the Dallas Cowboys. The Bucs and the Cowboys will kick off at 8:20 p.m. E.T. on NBC. It should be a good one.
