The New Orleans Saints are reportedly adding to their quarterback depth.
New Orleans announced on Friday afternoon that quarterback Drew Brees has been added to the injured list. This will sideline Brees, who’s dealing with some fractured ribs and a collapsed lung, for at least three weeks.
The Saints are expected to start Taysom Hill under center on Sunday. New Orleans also has Jameis Winston at the quarterback position.
Friday night, the Saints reportedly signed a new quarterback. New Orleans has reportedly signed former Northwestern Wildcats quarterback Trevor Siemian off of the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.
Siemian’s agent, Mike McCartney, announced the signing on Twitter on Friday night.

Siemian isn’t expected to play for the Saints, but with Brees on the injured list, New Orleans was in need of some more depth at the position.
The Saints are 7-2 on the season following last weekend’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. New Orleans was led by Winston in the second half of that game, as Brees exited with an injury.
Now, the Saints are expected to turn to Taysom Hill this weekend. New Orleans and Atlanta are scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on FOX.
