We’re not sure what kind of off-shore bank account the Los Angeles Rams are using, but reportedly the reigning Super Bowl champs could have been “in contact” with free agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
Per The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue, the Rams have had contact with the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year this offseason.

The team is said to be envisioning Stephon Gilmore opposite All-Pro Jalen Ramsey. However, it should be noted that the Rams offer to the five-time Pro Bowler will be “much lower” than Gilmore is expecting.
At 31-years-old, Gilmore still has plenty of good ball left in him.
He was traded by the Patriots to the Panthers at the midpoint of last season; and over those eight games in Carolina, Gilmore recorded a pair of interceptions and pass breakups.

Gilmore has earned Pro Bowl nods in each of the last four seasons, including two first-team All-Pro selections.
