The debate over the NBA’s greatest player of all-time is over – at least it is in the mind of ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
Wednesday night, Smith proclaimed the NBA’s GOAT debate to be over.
Smith believes that the Lakers’ disastrous 2021-22 season puts the nail in the coffin for LeBron’s GOAT chances.
“As GREAT as LeBron James the player has been this year, I can not say the same about LeBron the GM. This Lakers season ends all GOAT discussions TO ME!!!” he announced.

There are likely many who will agree with Stephen A. Smith, especially those who grew up watching Michael Jordan.
LeBron’s career still isn’t over, though.
Perhaps he has another championship or two in him – only maybe they’ll be outside of Los Angeles.
