Through 15 games this past season, Jack led the Jags in tackles with 108. In 2020 he logged a career-high 118 tackles through 14 games.
The 26-year-old starter will bolster a solid linebacker unit consisting of superstar pass rusher T.J. Watt, Devin Bush and Alex Highsmith.
Fans from around the NFL world took to Twitter to react to this big-time free agency news.
“Okay, if we can run the ball on offense and Trubisky controls the ball and makes smart plays, I kinda like our team. Just need to fill in our SS position and find a CB1,” one Steelers fan wrote.
“WOWWWWW Pittsburgh ACTUALLY making moves in free agency,” another said.
“What a signing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Good young linebacker, not too expensive, fills a big need. Still got plenty of cap left,” another added.
