Silver Minings: Tom Brady hit the practice field to check out the Raiders during training camp

Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady hit the practice field for the first time on Friday to watch the team practice.

The Las Vegas Raiders are five days away from their first action on the football field. They are in full training camp mode with the team being in pads since Monday. The news out of camp has raised expectations of what the team could be this season for Raider Nation.

With the buzz building for this Raiders team throughout the league, they had their first appearance of their superstar minority owner. Tom Brady hit the practice field on Friday to check out the football team and their progress this offseason.

It caught the eye of the young players on the field. Charles Grant was star-struck seeing Brady come around during training camp practice on Friday.

“Man, every time I see him, it’s just like an aura surrounding him. It’s great in having such a legendary figure in the building. You can really learn a lot from him. Offensively and defensively, he really knows what he’s talking about. So it’s great having him in the building.”

Brady’s presence brings eyes to the Raiders and adds legitimacy to the organization. The Raiders are hoping for a quick rebuild. The championship pedigree of Brady helps raise expectations of that becoming a possibility.
