Website think running back could be made expendable
It is not unusual for teams plans to change about certain player as the result of the draft and veterans could be made expendable quickly.
But Raheem Mostert?

According to Pro Football Network, which sent out a list of players from each team that could be cut or traded, it may be the case. The website identified Mostert as the player on the Raiders’ roster who is most likely to be traded or released because of the draft.
Las Vegas, of course, selected Boise State star running Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 overall pick in last month’s draft. Jeanty will be the Raiders lead back.
So, maybe Mostert could be made expendable. I never say never when it comes to move sin the NFL, but I’d be surprised if Mostert isn’t on the Raiders’ roster.
When they signed him this offseason in free agency, the Raiders knew they would be looking for a running back early. So, I think Mostert is safe, but it’s an interesting theory.
