If the Raiders’ wide receivers can repeat this stat, the offense will be in business
First, we know the Las Vegas Raiders offense sagged in 2024. Well, it may not have been much of the wide receiver’s fault. The quarterback play was that bad.
Second, we know the look of the wide receiver group for the team will be different in 2025.
So, with the addition of quarterback upgrade Geno Smith, if the Raiders can duplicate their clean play at wide receiver, the offense could take a big step forward as illustrated by the below tweet by NFL analyst Warren Sharp. According to Sharp, the Raiders’ wide receivers made the second fewest lowest percentage of error causing incompletions.

Wide receivers errors count things such as a dropped passes and botched route running. A big reason why the Raiders fared so well in this metric is because Jakobi Meyers, who was the team’s No. 1 receiver, didn’t have any drops last season.
So, if Meyers and company can come through with a clean season for Smith, the Las Vegas offense could be in business this season.
