Las Vegas Raiders rookie WR Jack Bech is hoping to contribute early in 2025

The Las Vegas Raiders were one of the worst passing offenses in 2024. Playing three quarterbacks during the season, the offense never threatened the opposing team. It left the defense out to try and help lead to a 4-13 season.

John Spytek went to work in the draft, adding offensive players to help elevate the offensive side of the ball. He drafted two wide receivers who were big-play threats during their college football careers. One of them is Jack Bech, a former tight end who had a 1,000-yard season during his senior season.

Bech got his first taste of NFL life during the rookie mini-camp and was one of the standout players during the week. This showed that he might be able to contribute earlier than expected and expressed that he was excited about the opportunity.

“Whenever you get thrown in the mix, you have to mature. You have to learn much quicker,” said Bech, who spent two seasons at LSU before transferring to TCU. “So, same thing here. You don’t have any time just to come out here and not know what you’re doing, not play full speed. You’ve got to come out here sharp, conditioned. You have to understand the game. You have to understand the playbook. I think that only matures you and gets you better. So, I definitely like it.”

The Raiders hope Bech can come along quickly to help build an explosive passing game in 2025 and the future. If he can continue to perform well during the offseason, he might get the chance to exhibit his talents quickly as a starter on the football team.
