They had seven pass plays of 25-plus yards in Sunday’s win in Denver
It wasn’t a bad play-calling debut for Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson in the Raiders’ 34-24 win at the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
According to the Associated Press, the Raiders became the first NFL team to have seven pass plays of 25 yards or more in a game.

Olson, of course, took over as the play caller after head coach Jon Gruden resigned from the team on Oct. 11. After a hot start to the season (the Raiders averaged 30 points a game when they started 3-0), the Las Vegas offense got into a funk during a two-game losing streak in Gruden’s final two games at the helm. They scored a total of 23 points in the two games.
Yet, Olson got the unit on track in a big way on Sunday and it set NFL history.
