During Friday’s episode of Get Up on ESPN, NFL analyst Ryan Clark gave his top-five quarterbacks under the most pressure heading into the 2021 season: No. 1 Carson Wentz, No. 2 Sam Darnold, No. 3 Matthew Stafford, No. 4 Baker Mayfield and No. 5 Aaron Rodgers.
Each of these QBs has a notable reason why they need to perform well this coming season, but Clark’s ESPN co-host Jeremy Fowler added another “sleeper” name to this list.
Fowler believes former league MVP Lamar Jackson is under pressure in 2021.
“There are a lot of people around the league that I speak to … they say this might be the year that everybody figures out Lamar Jackson,” Fowler said.
There’s not much to “figure out” when it comes to Jackson’s incredible athleticism. While Fowler gave his point of view, Clark exhibited some hilarious facial expressions.
“I’m confusion,” Clark wrote on Twitter after the show.

“Figure out what?” Clark argued. “Figure out why he can run a 4.3 and you can’t? Ain’t nothing to figure out. We see what he’s doing, we just can’t catch him!”
For the second straight season in 2020, Jackson finished the year with more than 2,750 yards passing and 1,000+ yards rushing. Through those two years, the elite dual-threat weapon collected 62 passing and 14 rushing touchdowns.
And with an improved receiving corps heading into this season, those numbers should only climb in 2021.
