Is Russell Wilson going to be the only Seahawks star the Denver Broncos add this offseason? Perhaps not if he can help it.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Wilson is trying to recruit linebacker Bobby Wagner to join him in Denver. Wagner was recently released by the Seahawks after a stellar 10-year run in the Pacific Northwest.
Wagner made the Pro Bowl eight times and earned first-team All-Pro honors six times with Seattle. He finished his tenure there with 1,383 total tackles, 23.5 sacks, 11 interceptions and nine fumble recoveries.
“Thank you Seattle for everything. It will forever be my home,” Wagner said last week.
Russell Wilson isn’t officially a Bronco yet, but he’s doing his best to improve the roster — by recruiting Bobby Wagner to play with him in Denver, per sources.
Former teammates that played 10 years together in Seattle could reunite, though Wagner has an expansive market.

Wagner will be 32 in June, but he still played at a high level in 2021. He finished the year with a career-high 170 tackles in 16 games and made second-team All-Pro.
As of last Thursday, the Rams, 49ers and Cardinals were reportedly interested in the veteran linebacker, but Wilson is reportedly trying hard to lure him to the Mile High city.
