Report: Steph Curry Has Chosen Sides In Parents’ Divorce

More details continue to emerge from the reported divorce of Dell and Sonya Curry.

Earlier this month, TMZ Sports reported that Sonya Curry had filed for divorce from her husband of 30-plus years.

TMZ Sports broke the news last Monday.

“Steph Curry’s parents are going their separate ways … TMZ Sports has learned Sonya Curry has filed for divorce from Dell Curry. 55-year-old Sonya put in the paperwork back on June 14 in North Carolina … according to court records. A court official tells us the divorce is still ongoing. Details surrounding the reason for the split are unclear — we’re working on it,” the news outlet reported.

Dell Curry has reportedly accused Sonya Curry of cheating on him with a former NFL player. That’s not the only cheating allegation, though. Dell Curry, a former NBA player, is accused of cheating on Sonya Curry with multiple women.

MTO News is now reporting that Steph Curry has chosen his mother’s side in the divorce.

MTO News has learned that son Steph and wife Ayesha have chosen sides.. A family friend of the Warriors star explained, “[Steph] has a special relationship with his mother, and so he’s supporting her.”

The insider added, “[Steph’s] relationship with his father is strained after this. He’s disappointed that [Dell] would put all their family business out there, and he doesn’t believe the accusations against his mother.”

Divorces can get ugly, so news like this should always be taken with a grain of salt.

Hopefully there are smoother roads ahead for the Curry family.
