Tiger Woods is reportedly looking good on the driving range at Augusta National this weekend.
The 15-time major champion announced on Sunday morning that he is beginning preparation for the major tournament. However, Woods has yet to officially commit to playing.
It sounds like he’s going to tee it up, though – barring a last-minute setback, anyway.
According to one PGA Tour player, Woods is driving the ball 290-plus yards and striping his irons.
“He looked like the Tiger we saw before the accident, the way the swing looked and the speed,” Billy Horschel said.
“For him to hopefully be playing – which I think he is – I think we’re all giddy about it.”
Billy Horschel watched Tiger hit balls Sunday, and estimates Tiger carried his driver 290.
