Have Calvin Johnson and the Detroit Lions finally put the past behind them? Megatron’s latest social media activity suggests yes.
Johnson took to Twitter earlier this week and posted what appeared to be a positive Lions-related picture and caption.

However, it doesn’t appear this means Johnson and the Lions have bridged things over.
“For the many who asked, Calvin Johnson’s social media posts yesterday did not mean the Lions have patched things up with the Hall of Fame WR,” writes Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “He was at Ford Field for other reasons, and has been there before (for at least 2 games I’m aware of). Perhaps one day.”

Calvin Johnson’s feud with the Detroit Lions stems from the $1.6 million the Lions collected from Johnson when he retired. Johnson thinks the act was uncalled for, especially considering all he did for the organization.
Detroit tried to patch things over by actually offering him an off-field job that would pay him the money back for just 28 hours of work per year. Johnson declined.
It’s clear Johnson won’t patch things over unless the Lions pay back the money, no questions asked. It doesn’t sound like Detroit is willing to go that direction. The organization would instead like Johnson to be more involved and “earn” the money back.
Johnson clearly wants to be involved with the Lions in some capacity, but not as an employee.
