Fans tend to rush out and buy up jerseys when their team drafts or signs a new player. We are a little over two weeks since the 2020 NFL Draft, so it’s a good time to check on the top sellers on NFL Shop.
Most of the top 25 features the jerseys of Dolphins rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa, No. 1 overall pick, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, and newly acquired Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. Adding to their demand is surely the fact that the Bucs have new (throwback-style) jerseys, so fans were buying them anyway.
Tagovailoa jerseys take up the top two spots, then different Brady jerseys take up the rest of the top six, with Gronk and Burrow rounding out the rest of the top 11. Those four make up most of the top 25 and beyond.
Others in the top 25 are all rookies. They go as follows:
12. Chargers QB Justin Herbert (powder blue)
14. Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (dark blue)
18. Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (orange)
24. Washington ED Chase Young (burgundy)
25. Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III (black)
So, while Ruggs makes the top 25, despite being the first wide receiver taken in the draft, his jersey is the third highest-selling among rookie wideouts.
In case you’re wondering, the next highest-selling Raiders jersey is their other first-round pick, Damon Arnette, at 64th. The only other Raiders jersey in the top 100 is the customizable one at 99th.
