We’re looking the best of the non-Canton Raiders
As we get closer to the season, let’s spend a little time getting into the Raiders’ history and find out who you think it’s the franchise’s best player who isn’t a Hall of Famer yet.
We’re only looking at players who haven’t yet been voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This our criteria: Only listing players who have been voted to, at least, one Pro Bowl. I’m not listing every Raiders’ non-Hall of Famer who has been to the Pro Bowl, though. That list would be too long. I’m also not not listing anyone who is currently playing the NFL because their story is not over yet.
This is going to be an impressive list, because the Raiders have a rich history. So, let’s all figure who you think is the best player in team history who is not in Canton. Remember, the late Cliff Branch and Richard Seymour have been voted in but will be inducted not will be inducted this summer. So, they’re off the list.
Also, remember, try to vote on the best player not necessarily who you think should be voted into the Hall of Fame next. For example, Jim Plunkett should be in Canton by now, but there may be a player who you think was the better overall player.
Have fun.
