The Las Vegas Raiders will be down one of their offense weapons in 2020, as the team placed WR Tyrell Williams on injured-reserve Tuesday. Williams had been trying to play through a torn shoulder labrum in training camp in his second season with the team. Williams joined the Raiders in 2019 on a four-year, $44 million dollar deal. His 2019 season started out hot, with Williams catching passes for touchdowns in each of the first five games.
Williams struggled with plantar fascitis throughout the year, hauling in only 42 catches for 651 yards.
The Raiders signed two free agent wide receivers in the off-season in Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones, along with draft choices Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards. Hunter Renfrow also returns after a successful rookie campaign.
