Raiders News: Maxx Crosby, Brock Bowers Named To 2025 Pro Bowl

January 9, 2026 by Raiders Nation

Maxx Crosby, Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive end Maxx Crosby and tight end Brock Bowers have both been named AFC Pro Bowlers for the 2025 season. This is the fifth consecutive year in which Crosby has been named a Pro Bowler and the second straight for Bowers who has made it in both of his NFL seasons.

Crosby has continued to prove why he is one of the best defensive players on the planet and the leader of this Raiders franchise. He is one of just 11 players with at least 10 sacks this season and his 72 tackles are the most of anyone with double-digit sacks, showing that he is more than just a pass rusher, but affects the game in so many other ways.

His 28 tackles for loss rank second in the league, trailing only Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett, and he also has 20 quarterback hits, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and an interception. Garrett and Houston Texans star Will Anderson Jr. are the other defensive ends on the AFC Pro Bowl roster.

Bowers had a rough start to the season thanks to injury which forced him to miss three games while also clearly being hampered in others. But he has still built on his outstanding rookie season and is well deserving of his Pro Bowl selection.

Bowers has 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns, all of which lead the Raiders. The Raiders offense has not been great this season, but Bowers has been the constant on that side of the ball for this team and when he has been healthy has been simply unguardable. Additionally, Bowers needs just 107 yards in the final two games of the season to break Mike Ditka’s record for the most receiving yards by a tight end in his first two seasons in NFL history.

The Pro Bowl Games will take place in San Francisco, California, the week before Super Bowl LX, culminating in a 7-on-7 flag football game on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Pete Carroll would love to stay with Raiders for a rebuild

There is no doubt that both Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers are foundational pieces for this Raiders team that is not where they want to be as a franchise right now. The team is in the midst of a rebuild, but one question is whether head coach Pete Carroll, the oldest active coach in the NFL, is the right person for a rebuild considering his age. But Carroll pushed those concerns aside and made it clear he is more than willing to stick it out with this team.
