Raiders fans want a Kolton Miller extension

Fan base feels like left tackle is most deserving of a new deal

The Las Vegas Raiders have been in a contract-extending mood lately as they have given long-term deals to defensive end Maxx Crosby and punter A.J. Cole.

With that in mind, we have been wondering who is next to get a new contract from the new Las Vegas regime. So, we asked our community members who they think is most deserving of getting re-signed by the Raiders.

Here were the options:

Left tackle Kolton Miller
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers
Kicker Daniel Carlson:
Long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer:

The results weren’t close. The fan base believes Miller is the most deserving of a new deal as he received 60 percent of the vote. Meyers was next at 28 percent.

I get why this vote was so heavy in Miller’s favor. He’s an above-average player at a key position. Time will tell if the Raiders’ brass agrees with the fans.

Yes, Malcolm Koonce is a free agent in 2026 as well. He wasn’t put on this list because he just singed a one-year deal. and it’s clear both the player and the team want to see how this seoans goes in his return form an ACL before an extension is addressed.

Miller needs a new contract bad. Best foundations to build a team is a QB, Blind side protector and edge.

Kolton Miller is the most obvious choice – only 29 years old, a well-established left tackle and (for most of his career) is an ironman who has missed very few games. Yes, he’s never been all-pro or made a pro bowl, but he got a high PFF grade last season. Geno – and the QB that eventually replaces him in a couple of years – need a reliable LT. Miller is it.

Not sure how many times or ways we can ask the question but it appears to be a lot. The truth is that Miller and Meyers require the greatest outlay of cash and require serious thought on the part of the new regime. Carlson makes some sense in light of the Cole extension but I’ll be damned if I’m weighing in on the long snapper’s extension. I remember all the wailing and gnashing of teeth when Jacob replaced Trent.
