Prediction and betting odds for Raiders vs. Chargers in Week 18

January 4, 2025 by Raiders Wire

The Las Vegas Raiders (4-12) close their 2024 NFL season with a Sunday date inside Allegiant Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers (10-6).

Las Vegas enters its Week 18 finale after back-to-back wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints.

The Raiders used a 7-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter from running back Ameer Abdullah to down Jacksonville, 19-14. Then, Las Vegas rode a pair of touchdown passes from quarterback Aidan O’Connell and a second-half shutout of New Orleans en route to a 25-10 victory last week.

The Raiders’ consecutive wins came on the heels of a 10-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, the Chargers enter on a two-game winning streak of their own and after having locked up a playoff spot in their 40-7 romp over New England last week.

Los Angeles can do no worse than the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture, but the Chargers could rise to the No. 5 seed with a win over the Raiders combined with a Cincinnati Bengals win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.

With kickoff approaching, here’s the latest odds, including the spread, money line numbers and the over-under point total. Plus, a prediction on how this contest unfolds.
