Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were rivals on the field. Off the field, however, they’ve always maintained a good friendship.
Manning was quick to send Brady a few gifts when he announced his retirement earlier this year. One was a handwritten note. The other was a bottle of wine. Manning wants both back.
Brady, of course, has since un-retired. He’s going to be suiting up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers later this fall, barring some crazy trade.
Manning wants his gifts back. He’s kidding, of course.
“He un-retired. I want the letter back,” Manning said jokingly. “I want the bottle of wine back, too.”

We have a feeling that bottle of wine is probably gone. It had to have been a good one if Manning wants it back.The handwritten note, however, may still be somewhere around Brady’s home.
We have a feeling Peyton isn’t going to let this one go anytime soon. Perhaps Brady can return the favor with a gift of his own for Manning.
