The 2021 season might be Aaron Rodgers‘ last in Green Bay.
According to multiple reports, the Packers reached an agreement with Rodgers, allowing him to potentially move on in 2022, if he’s still feeling the same way about the franchise.
Rodgers, of course, held out for most of the 2021 offseason. He finally showed up at the start of training camp after skipping voluntary OTAs and mandatory minicamp.
The MVP quarterback has made it clear that he is 100 percent committed to the team for the 2021 season. It remains to be seen what will happen following the year, though.
In fact, Rodgers recently admitted to NBC Sports NFL insider Peter King that he believed the 2020 season was going to be his last in Green Bay.
From King’s report:
He did, however, say something I didn’t expect: “Last year at this time, I was looking at the season as my last year in Green Bay.”
Rodgers’ offseason behavior isn’t very surprising when you know that.

If this is his final season in Green Bay, Rodgers will certainly try to go out on top. The Packers enter the year with Super Bowl or bust hopes.
Green Bay is scheduled to open the 2021 regular season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the New Orleans Saints.
