The Green Bay Packers have reportedly signed former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Keisean Nixon, per multiple reports.
After going undrafted in the 2019 class, Nixon was picked up by the Raiders organization. Through three seasons and 40 games in Oakland/Las Vegas, the 24-year-old defensive back logged 38 tackles and one pass defended. This past season, he collected 12 tackles through 11 games and one start.

Nixon was more of a special teams player than true corner on defense. He ultimately logged 692 special teams snaps compared to 273 on the defensive side of the ball. In addition to working with the kick coverage team, he also returned six punts for 84 yards.
Nixon was placed on injured reserve with a leg injury during final cuts this past season, but rejoined the active roster back in October. The Las Vegas organization had the opportunity to tender him this offseason but chose not to do so this month, making him an unrestricted free agent.
This addition will give the Packers another solid athlete on their special teams unit.
