Struggling Chiefs have better odds to make playoffs than recently-dominant Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Raiders have won two straight games, they are atop the AFC West with a 5-2 record and are tied for the best mark in the AFC.
Life is good in the Raider Nation.
However, oddsmakers apparently are still not sold on the Raider’s long-term season this season. According to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Raiders’ have basically just a 50-50 shot to make the playoffs.
The Raiders -110 to make the postseason. So, that’s pretty much an even money bet. The Kansas City Chiefs, meanwhile, are a -200 bet to make the playoffs.
the #Raiders are -110/-110 to make/miss the playoffs per @DraftKings sportsbook (implied 50%), while the #Chiefs are still -200/+155 (63%)

The Chiefs are considered a better bet to make the playoffs than the Raiders even though they are two games behind Las Vegas in the AFC West with a 3-4 record and have struggled all season.
The Raiders are 4-1 to win the division, according to DraftKings sportsbook, which is the third lowest (best) odds in the division even though they are in first place. The 4-2 Chargers are even at -110, the Chiefs are +250 and the 3-4 Broncos are 12-1.
My thoughts on the current Raiders’ odds disrespect? Sometimes, it takes even the bookies a while to buy in. If betting is your thing, this is a great opportunity to back your squad.
