Happy anniversary, Green Bay Packers fans.
On this weekend in 2005, the Packers selected then-California quarterback Aaron Rodgers with the 24th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Rodgers, of course, has gone on to become of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, winning a Super Bowl in Green Bay and setting countless personal record marks.
“On this day in 2005, Aaron Rodgers after getting passed up by the 49ers at No. 1, and falling to Green Bay at No. 24, makes a bold prediction. Caveat: Rodgers to date is 0-4 against the 49ers in the playoffs,” Darren Rovell tweeted.

It’s true, that Rodgers has been better than anyone the 49ers have had at the quarterback position during this time.
Still, the 49ers have had his number in the playoffs.
“Have the 49ers won a Super Bowl since Rodgers has been in the league? Didn’t think so, but go off though,” one fan tweeted.
“Packers Super Bowl victories since drafting Aaron Rodgers: 1 49ers Super Bowl victories in that time span: 0,” another fan added.
“Yeah they playoff losses hurt but I would rather have 1 super bowl and those losses than zero Super Bowls since that night,” another fan added.
Perhaps Rodgers will get Super Bowl No. 2 this year.
