Earlier Saturday afternoon, the Deshaun Watson trade rumors came back in full force before final roster cuts ahead of the 2021 season.
The Houston Texans need decide whether or not they want to carry Watson on their 53-man roster this season. In an attempt to determine his future, the Texans are reportedly discussing a potential trade with several teams.
Yahoo Sports insider Charles Robinson reported on Saturday afternoon that the Dolphins have emerged as the “frontrunner” in a potential trade. However, the Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos have all reportedly showed interest in the past.
The rumors made shockwaves through the NFL world, with fans from all four teams chiming in. However, a few fans don’t think it’s a very good idea for a team to give up draft capital for Watson – who might not even be able to play this year.
Here’s some of the reaction from around social media.
hm. maybe just hold off on trading for the guy with 20+ accusations of sexual harassment/assault so you don’t have to put yourself in this situation

Other fans are intrigued by the possibility of Watson throwing touchdown passes to former Texans teammate Will Fuller.
It’s going to sting for #Texans fans seeing Deshaun Watson the player leave Houston.
What would make it even more tough would be seeing Deshaun Watson tossing 75-yard touchdowns to Will Fuller in Miami.

Charles Robinson highlighted the fact that other teams have talked to the Texans about pick protections in in the event Watson is suspended.
He’s still facing lawsuits from 22 women and it’s unclear if there will be a resolution any time soon.
Would the Dolphins trade for Watson before the cases against him are settled? If so, what happens to Tua Tagovailoa?
There are still plenty of questions that need answering.
