In just a few hours, the Green Bay Packers will host the San Francisco 49ers with a trip to the NFC title game on the line.
Before the game kicks off, quarterback Aaron Rodgers stole the headlines. In a conversation with NFL Network’s Kay Adams, Rodgers revealed why he’s opening up more this season.
“For a long time, I think I was a little bit more of an enigma because I was quiet about my personal life,” Rodgers said. “At some point, enough is enough. I’m going to use my platform to speak more candidly and set the record straight on things that need to be straightened out. It’s caring about the things that are important and my narrative is important.”
Earlier this week, Rodgers said in an interview with ESPN that he felt he was being “silenced.” Of course, that comment combined with his recent interviews have fans poking fun at the quarterback.
“This silenced guy is everywhere,” one person said.

“Aaron Rodgers ‘I’m being silenced,’ Also Aaron Rodgers,” said another person.

Not everyone hates the new Aaron Rodgers, though. He’s even made a fan out of a Vikings fan.
“As a die hard Vikings fan, I’m not supposed to like Aaron Rodgers…but this new open book is so damn likable. Everyone should care about their own narrative,” he said.

Rodgers and the Packers will be on the field tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET for a game against the 49ers.
Can he finally find a way to beat San Francisco in the playoffs?
