Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards claimed he and a friend were robbed at gunpoint in December 2021.
According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, Edwards and his friend drove, pulled up club’s valet and paid the $60 fee to leave their car. The Ravens running back claims he and the friend then paid $800 to sit in a private area guarded by security.
During their time at the club, Edwards claimed employees of the club started fighting and they decided to leave. According to the report from TMZ, he said five armed, masked men were waiting for them at their car.
Edwards says he and Zayzay attempted to fend off the robbers — but, in the suit, the football player says the men eventually ended up taking his $50,000 custom necklace and $25,000 watchEdwards says Zayzay’s $60,000 Audemars Baguette watch was also stolen in the altercation.
Edwards and his friend reportedly filed a lawsuit against the club and the valet. They’re allegedly looking for over $800,000 in damages.
The Ravens running back had a rough 2021. Before the 2021 NFL season kicked off he suffered a torn ACL and missed the entire season.
