The schedule is out and as we suspected, they will be heavily featured in prime time this season, starting with their home opener in week two. You can see the full schedule here.
More so than the Raiders being featured, the NFL will be featuring one of their two new trophies. All four of the Raiders prime time games will be in their new home, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The other new stadium being rolled out this year is SoFi Stadium in Inglewood where the Rams and Chargers will play.
In case you’re wondering, there will be three prime time games at SoFi stadium — all Rams games. Probably because while they want to show off the stadium, they would rather not show off the Chargers’ pathetic attendance. The Chargers have two prime time games and both are on the road. One of them, as it happens, is in Las Vegas.
As for the Las Vegas primetime games, there are as follows.
Week 2 vs New Orleans Saints

Sept 21, 5:15 p.m. Pacific Time (8:15 pm ET)
After the Raiders opened their season in Carolina, they come back to Las Vegas to welcome Drew Brees and the Saints come to town as the first-ever schedule Raiders game at their new Allegiant Stadium. There was never much of a question the NFL would be eager to put the Raiders’ first game on national television. And just like the previous two seasons, it’s on Jon Gruden’s former network ESPN on Monday Night Football.
Week 7 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Oct 25, 5:20 p.m. Pacific Time (8:20 p.m. ET)
Just as Jon Gruden will be featured on his former network in their first prime time matchup, when he faces his former team headed up by Tom Brady who was his opponent in the infamous Tuck Rule game, you know the NFL was dying to get that game in front of a big audience.
Week 11 vs Kansas City Chiefs
NBC Sunday Night Football
Nov 22, 5:20 p.m. Pacific Time (8:20 p.m. ET)
The Raiders visit Arrowhead in week five, where they haven’t won in seven years. When Pat Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl champs are coming to Las Vegas, it will be on a big stage.
Week 15 vs Los Angeles Chargers
Thursday Night Football
Dec 17, 5:20 p.m. Pacific Time (8:20 p.m. ET)
This game will not only be aired on NFL Network, but also on FOX and Amazon Simulcast. And with it literally half the Raiders home games this season will be prime time games. This one will have the rival Chargers with rookie sixth overall pick quarter Justin Herbert at the helm.
