We take a shot at all eight picks
We’re just 17 days away from the 2021 NFL draft so it’s time to do a full Las Vegas Raiders mock draft as we countdown to April 29.
We will do another right before the draft. FYI, there are no trades n this mock, I will do a mock with trades soon.
Until then, here we go!
No. 17 — USC Offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker:
He’s been my pick for a while. I like the value and his long-term projection at either right tackle or at guard. He seems like a safe bet to be a quality player for a long time.
No. 48 — Central Florida safety Richie Grant:
This would be a great value at a need position. Grant would get a chance to make an immediate impact on the secondary.
No. 79 (via Arizona) — UAB Jordan Smith:
He is a solid pass rusher who the team can groom behind Yannick Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby.
No. 80 — Ohio State linebacker Baron Browning:
The Raiders need to develop young linebackers and Browning would be a great player to do that with.
No. 121 — LSU defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin:
I know the Raiders are thick on the defensive line, but Shelvin would be a good player to add.
No. 162 (via Miami) — Ohio State offensive lineman Thayer Munford:
He is versatile like Vera-Tucker. The more young offensive linemen the merrier.
No. 167 (via Seattle) — Louisville linebacker Dorian Etheridge:
Another depth piece to develop.
No. 200 — Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers
Another Raiders’ receiver named Amari. Another Clemson player in Las Vegas. Why not?
