In March, HBO’s series on the Showtime era of the Los Angeles Lakers will premiere. It’s being titled, “Winning Time: The Rise Of The Lakers Dynasty.”
Even though this HBO series has the potential to be an absolute hit, Lakers legend Magic Johnson isn’t exactly eager to watch it.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, the Hall of Famer revealed that his main focus is on his own projects.
“No, we got different shows coming out,” Johnson said, via TMZ Sports. “I got one, then you got Jeanie Buss got one on Showtime coming out. Those are the ones I’m looking forward to.”
NBA fans believe Johnson isn’t looking forward to the new HBO series because it may portray him in a negative light.
“Oh this is gonna be good,” one fan said.
