The Associated Press has unveiled its 2010s all-decade team for the NBA, and it’s a star-studded group to say the least.
Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden, LeBron James and Dirk Nowitzki formed the starting five for AP’s all-decade team.
Of course, every player selected to the all-decade team has done so much for the game and will one day be in the Hall of Fame. And yet, there are plenty of fans questioning how some players made the cut.
“James Harden is very out of place on this team of NBA Champions,” Jim Miloch of the Pod of Fame podcast said. “Kawhi Leonard and his two Finals MVPs have to be on here before him.”

On the flip side, there are some fans who believe Harden deserves to be on the all-decade team.
“People quickly forget how dominant Harden was for a whole decade,” an NBA fan tweeted.

As for who deserved to be an honorable mention, Russell Westbrook probably should’ve received some consideration. His list of accomplishments over the past decade is impressive.
Russell Westbrook in the 2010s
2017 MVP
8x All star
2x all star mvp
2x scoring leader
2x assists leader
2x all nba first team
5x all nba second team
One all nba third team
Averaged a triple double three times
Most triple doubles in one season
That ain’t enough? https://t.co/AmH3N7ZxpE— 𝐀𝐋 (@BrodieViole) April 6, 2022
There have been so many iconic players over the past decade that putting together this list couldn’t have been easy.
Do you agree with the AP’s 2010s all-decade team?
