The New York Jets are running it back with the same quarterback room.
On Tuesday, the team announced Mike White signed his RFA tender, locking him onto the team’s roster next season to the tune of one-year, $2.54 million.

White started three games for Gang Green in 2021, completing 68 percent of his passes for 751 yards and four touchdowns to six interceptions.
Most of that production came in Week 7, when White lit up the Bengals D on his way to a 405-yard, three TD performance. All while completing 37-45 pass attempts on his way to AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
And one of the few Jets wins of last season.

“We’ve been blessed to be around some of the great players in this league and Mike is fantastic,” Jets head coach Robert Saleh said of White after the win. Adding, “He’s poised. He was throwing it all throughout camp and throughout OTA’s that he deserves to be one of those guys.”
A fifth-round pick out of Western Kentucky in 2018, White has now secured himself as an NFL QB; and could be in play to get additional starts for the Jets come next season.
