Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel isn’t interested in having receiver A.J. Brown on the trade block.
Brown has been in trade rumors throughout the offseason, even though Titans general manager Jon Robinson said last week that they’re going to keep him.
Vrabel then made his comments to the public about the rumors for the first time on Thursday. He was asked by Rich Eisen on the Rich Eisen Show if Brown was on the block and shot that down real quick.
“Not as long as I’m the head coach,” Vrabel said. “I love A.J. professionally, personally. I’ve gotten to know him well as his coach and enjoy seeing him as much as I possibly can. I saw him here working out here earlier and said hi. As long as I’m the head coach here, I would want to have A.J. Brown on my football team.”

Brown had another strong year in 2021 after finishing with 869 yards and five touchdowns off of 63 receptions.
In the two prior seasons to this one, he had 1,051 and 1,075 receiving yards respectively.
He’s entering the final year of his rookie deal and will undoubtedly get a large contract extension sooner or later.
