ESPN’s Mike Greenberg is getting crushed by football fans right now.
Ahead of Super Bowl 56, Greeny posted a picture of the food he prepared for the big game. The 54-year-old went with a wings, a respectable choice for the big game.
So what’s the problem? The problem is how Greenberg was eating his wings. Believe it or not, the ESPN analyst used a fork and knife to eat his wings. No, unfortunately we’re not kidding.
This is an atrocity.
How it started.
How it’s going. #SuperBowl pic.twitter.com/s94Vb4bU0H— StacyGSGreenberg (@StacyGSG) February 13, 2022
Fans aren’t happy. Even ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins chimed in.
“Hold up! Is Greeny actually eating wings with a damn fork and knife?” Perkins said.
“He is not really using a fork and knife with wings is he? This is just a call for attention right ??” another commented.
“This is the guy @espn has host every show that Stephen A. can’t. Come get your man ESPN!” a fan tweeted.
It’s plausible Mike Greenberg didn’t want to get messy, but that’s half the fun with wings. Someone needs to teach Greeny how to eat wings in the future.
