Zion Williamson’s injury situation seems to be greatly improving.
On Tuesday evening, the injured star posted a video showing off some of the unreal athleticism that endeared him to NBA fans as the No. 1 overall pick in 2019.
Taking to Instagram, Williamson unveiled an off-the-backboard, between-the-legs alley-oop.

This video comes just one day after NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Zion will not return this season. He returned to rehab with the team earlier this month, but this positive step apparently didn’t indicate a quick comeback.
Zion suffered a broken foot injury during an offseason workout before the 2021-22 season. Though he was originally expected to return around December, several setbacks have delayed his timeline significantly. He’s yet to take the floor this year after an All-Star season that saw him average 27.0 points per game in 2020-21.
Hopefully this clip means Zion will be back at full health for the 2022-23 season.
