Viktor Hovland is off to a rough start in his second-round Friday at the 2022 Masters.
Beginning the day at even par after an opening-round 72 on Thursday, the 24-year-old Norwegian is now 3-over through five holes at Augusta National.
His early-round struggles included a painfully bad chip shot from just off the green at the first — flubbing it just a couple yards ahead.
He finished the opening hole with a disappointing double bogey.

After bouncing back with a par on No. 2 and a birdie on No. 3, Hovland notched two bogeys in a row on No. 4 and 5. He currently sits in a tie for 51st at 3-over par.
As the wind picks up throughout the day, good scoring will only become more difficult to come by.
