March 28, 2022 by The Spun

2022 NCAA Tournament bracket

Those planning on attending this year’s Final Four in New Orleans are going to have to pony up the cash.

According to online ticket marketplace TickPick, prices have steadily climbed since fans learned that Duke and UNC would meet with a trip to the national championship on the line.

“$190: Cheapest ticket sold before the tournament,” TickPick noted. Saying, “$468: Cheapest ticket available after Duke advanced. $658: Cheapest ticket available after UNC took 19 point lead at halftime against St. Peter’s (would play Duke in Final Four).”

With the clock striking midnight on Saint Peter’s in the Elite 8. The Final Four is set, with a quartet of blue bloods.

For the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament, Duke and North Carolina will face-off with a national title berth on the line. As Hubert Davis’ No. 8 ranked Tar Heels will look to take part in Coach K’s final game by sending him home.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket. Villanova and Kansas will duke it out (no pun intended) in what should be an incredible matchup of one and two-seeds.

It’s gonna be a party in NOLA next weekend.
