Like Nick Saban in the college football world, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has seemingly become an immortal in the NFL world.
Belichick has defied all odds, making winning in the NFL look easy most of the time. Perhaps what’s most impressive is the fact that he’s 69 years old and isn’t showing signs of slowing down.
Belichick and the New England Patriots took on the Philadelphia Eagles in a preseason exhibition Thursday night. During the broadcast, NFL Network displayed a graphic which wound up going viral. The graphic compared Belichick, who’s been coaching in the NFL for 47 years, to new Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, who’s just 40 years old.
Take a look.

That’s pretty insane. The scary thing is Bill Belichick doesn’t look like he’ll call it a career any time soon.
The Patriots head coach has a massive challenge on his hands at the moment. He’s still trying to put a winning product on the field in the post-Tom Brady era. It didn’t go so well last season with Cam Newton under center.
The Patriots, as a result, took former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He looked sharp against the Eagles Thursday night as he completed 13 of his 19 attempts for 149 yards. Newton, on the other hand, also had a strong night (8-of-9 for 103 yards and a touchdown).
New England has one more preseason game to go before it kicks off the 2021 season on Sept. 12 against the Miami Dolphins.
