Part of Denver’s Mile High Stadium caught on fire Thursday.
A plume of smoke rising from the Broncos’ Empower Field could reportedly be seen all across the city, per NBC’s 9News in Denver.

The Denver Fire Department has yet to identify the cause of the fire, but says the fire has “affected the suite area and the third level seating area.” The stadium’s sprinkle system attempted to stop the fire but the fire department was needed to complete the extinguishment.

According to a release from Mile High’s official Twitter account, the fire occurred in a construction zone near the East Club Lounge. The area was quickly evacuated and no one was harmed.
A small fire that occurred in a construction zone near the East Club Lounge at Empower Field at Mile High has been contained by @Denver_Fire.
That area of the stadium was quickly evacuated as a precaution and there were no injuries sustained.
