The XFL has unveiled the logo for its most recent rendition of the league and its inaugural 2023 season.
The new logo is about as simple as it gets — using bold-faced, black letters to spell out “XFL.” An alternate logo uses an inverse color scheme — white letters over a black backdrop.

This is the third time the XFL has tried to get up and running. Looking to reboot the league that took the field for just one season in 2001, the XFL attempted a comeback just before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. With that attempt understandably derailed, the league is now looking to launch it’s 3.0 edition in early 2023.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, owner of the XFL alongside his business partner Dany Garcia, revealed the new logo and a hype video for the league on Twitter Wednesday.
“Pumped to reveal our new XFL logo as we build our organization and shape our one of a kind, hungry XFL culture,” The Rock wrote. “X represents the INTERSECTION OF DREAMS & OPPORTUNITY. To all our XFL players, coaches, fans; You bring the dreams – we’ll bring the opportunity. Now LFG!”
