The anticipation of Tiger Woods potentially playing at the Masters this week has already reached a fever pitch, and it’s only Monday.
Woods has not played on the PGA Tour since his February 2021 car wreck, but things continue to trend toward him returning to the course on Thursday.
On Monday, the legendary golfer played a practice round at Augusta, and the crowd turnout to watch Woods was insane. It looked like the gathering you might expect for an actual tournament.
If Woods does participate this weekend, we can only imagine how many people will turn out to watch him.

On Sunday, Woods said it would be a “game-time decision” on whether or not he would compete in the Masters.
Golf Digest’s Daniel Rapaport, who watched Woods’ nine-hole practice round and subsequent putting session, said he believes that the 15-time major champion will play “barring a last-minute change.”
Woods is expected to address the media tomorrow. We’ll be watching intently to see if he reveals his status for Thursday.
