On Oct. 24, the Kansas City Chiefs fell to 3-4 on the season. Since then, they’ve rattled off eight wins in a row.
This past Sunday, the Chiefs dismantled the Steelers en route to yet another AFC West Title. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for the reigning AFC champions with 258 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Mahomes’ fiancé, Brittany Matthews, posted a message on Twitter for the Chiefs’ critics following their win over the Steelers.
“Playoffs here they come & if you doubted that, please watch the film & to all a goodnight,” Matthews wrote.

At this point, no one is sleeping on the Chiefs. They’ve won enough games in a row to prove their recent streak isn’t a fluke.
With the AFC West already locked up, the Chiefs can turn their attention over to clinching the No. 1 seed in the conference.
Mahomes addressed the Chiefs’ remaining goals for the 2021 season in his postgame press conference on Sunday.
“You look at the AFC West [and] every team is still battling for a playoff spot,” Mahomes said, via ESPN. “It’s a tough division. We have more goals we want to go after, but this was the first one.”
The Chiefs will be back in action this Sunday against the Bengals. This matchup could end up being a playoff preview.
